After spending three nights in the heavily industrialised and pollution rich cities of Delhi and Agra, arriving in Sawai Madhopur (closest train station to Ranthambore) was literally like a breath of fresh air. Ranthambore national park is renowned as one of the best places to spot a tiger in Rajasthan, and although it is a little off the beaten track, it is definitely well worth adding onto your schedule, especially if you love wildlife and nature!
Taj Mahal, Agra
Wednesday, 29 March 2017
Everyone seems to have one place that for whatever reason you simply have to visit in your lifetime. For me, this has been the Taj Mahal. This historic marble tomb has long been on my bucket list and I can safely say it did not disappoint. There is nothing quite like the feeling of emerging around a corner and seeing the thing you have dreamt of for years right in front of you!
Delhi, India
Wednesday, 22 March 2017
Delhi has a population of around 25 million, making it one of the most populous cities in the world. People say India is a land of contrasts and there is no better place to experience the strikingly different ways of life than in Delhi, India's capital city. From the minute you step out of the airport, the chaos and vibrancy of the city will hit you. The intensity of the city is not for everyone, but if you do Delhi in the right way I believe anyone can enjoy their encounter with this lively and interesting place.
What to wear in India
Wednesday, 21 December 2016
When travelling the world, I believe that acknowledging different societal norms and values and how this might affect what you wear is absolutely essential. Not only is it good to be respectful, it will also benefit yourself by avoiding stares and unwanted attention.

For a while now I have been lusting over images of the blue city of Chefchaouen in Morocco, scattered throughout my Insta/Pinterest feeds with the hope that one day I will be able to make the voyage myself.
The City To Ourselves | Day 3 in Rome
Saturday, 6 August 2016
Our final morning in Rome was by far my favourite moment of our trip. As I said in my first travel diary, we promised ourselves we would wake up at the crack of dawn and visit the Trevi Fountain early in the morning before the unbelievable crowds form later in the day. So we did just that and managed to get down to the fountain before 8:30 am.
Colosseum & Parco Savello | Day 2 in Rome
Wednesday, 3 August 2016
Despite being rather sceptical of booking ourselves onto a group tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, we decided it would be best as we weren't massively clued up on the history of these places.
